Students at Mississippi School of the Arts made their presence known at the 42nd Annual Ole Brook Festival in Brookhaven, Mississippi. An entire day of arts, crafts, food vendors, car shows, and kid jumps had festival attendees busy all day. Several students from MSA performed individually, as well as in a group with “Total Praize” student-led gospel vocal group. Visual art students from the Department of Visual Arts, provided face-painting and design for festival children.
The Ole Brook Festival is a premiere family tradition held every fall in the historic section of Brookhaven, Mississippi (the arts district as we like to call it). Vendors arrive from all over the state, including out-of-state vendors seeking to sell one-of-a-kind items. The Festival is organized by the Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce.
