Visual Art Exhibit at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art

Mississippi School of the Arts’ Department of Visual Arts has been invited to showcase artwork at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans, Louisiana. This special opportunity will take place January 19 through March 5, 2017.

“Through Stories of Our Generation we would like to voice our distinct experiences and how they have shaped us into the artists we are today. Using the subject of the self-portrait, we have opened a window into our lives.  We tell many of our stories using universal symbols, knowing viewers may read our stories through the lenses of their lives.” – The students of the Mississippi School of the Arts
