The Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) welcomes Brittany Horne back to campus as the newest addition to its teaching staff. Brittany, a 2007 graduate of MSA’s Visual Arts Program is now returning to teach at her alma mater. After graduating from MSA, Brittany attended Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and went on to receive her Masters degree in Fine Arts from Mississippi College.

Horne brings experience as an accomplished Artist and Teacher to the position. She has taught visual arts at McComb High School and Noxubee High School. Her art work has been shown in Art Basel in Miami, FL; Museum of Modern Perspective, Atlanta Studio, ATLA Studios, in Atlanta GA and in galleries and exhibitions throughout Mississippi. She has won awards for her work in regional art festivals and competitions throughout her career. She has also served as the photographer for “The World of Coca-Cola”.

“We are thrilled to have Brittany join our artistic staff at MSA. She’ll bring a fresh approach and a unique perspective having been a student here herself,” said Dr. Suzanne Hirsch, MSA’s Executive Director.
