Mississippi Congressman Michael Guest tweets an announcement, signifying Sonia Matrick as the overall winner for the 2020 Congressional Art Competition.

Several students at Mississippi School of the Arts captured awards at the 2020 Mississippi Congressional Art Competition, sponsored by Congressman Michael Guest. The event is held each year, highlighting the artistic talents of students state-wide. Sonia Matrick, a junior visual student, received the overall award for her work entitled “Frustration.” The top award will showcase at the United States Capitol for one year.
