Faculty and students of Morgantown Arts Academy recently visited the campus of Mississippi School of the Arts, touring and listening to the history of the campus. Morgantown Arts Academy is a public school, located in Natchez, Mississippi and a part of the Natchez-Adams School District. For all of the students and faculty, it was their first visit to the state’s fine arts, high school campus.
Morgantown Arts Academy serves students 6th through 8th grade and exposes them to the arts such as instrumental music, drawing/painting, and more. “They were completely amazed and really enjoyed coming to MSA to tour the campus.”, said Twanna Thornton, the school’s principal. It is hopeful, that with this first-time experience, interested students will apply for admission to Mississippi School of the Arts.
