We’re thankful to the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) for spotlighting Mississippi School of the Arts, the state’s public residential high school for fine arts. The Spotlight was recognized and shown at the board meeting for the Mississippi State Board of Education today, December 14th, 2017. Mississippi School Spotlight is an initiative to promote the success of Mississippi’s public schools across the state. In this segment, executive director Suzanne Hirsch, principal Debra Henderson, staff, and students talk about the student work and creative environment at Mississippi School of the Arts.
